The Parochial Church Council

The Parochial Church Council (PCC)  meets 6 times each year and is responsible for all aspects of church life.

The PCC consists of the Churchwardens, 15 elected members along with 4 members of Deanery Synod, and 2 Ordained members of staff. The Youth Minister is a non-voting co-opted member.  Much of the work of the PCC is carried out by the finance, buildings and missions committees which report to PCC and also involve non PCC members.

The Church Oversight Group (COG) meets monthly, chaired by the vicar,t and acts as a reference group, also reporting to PCC.

The Churchwardens meet regularly with the vicar and they are supported by a team of appointed Assistant Wardens at the Sunday 10.00am service.

Richard Orrin and Anne Adams are the Church Wardens and are available at most services and will answer any questions if you want to know more about the St Mary’s Church. Additionally they can be contacted by email

If you wish to contact the PCC Secretary or the Honorary Treasurer you can do so via email, or via the church office.
