Martin Watson - Transforming Gift (18th March)

In addition to remembering Mothering Sunday, Martin Watson continued our Lenten theme of ‘Transforming Life’ speaking about the amazing (and unusual) story of the Israelites in the wilderness being healed from snake bites!  The theme for this week was God’s ‘Transforming Gift’ of grace. Chris Adams continued our Lent series on ‘Transforming Life’.  He considered how the Ten Commandments brought a ‘Transforming Rule’ to the life of Israel and what that might mean for us today.

Nick’s Last Sunday—18 December 2011

Nick Bell

Nick Bell retired as Vicar of St Mary's, the Parish Church of Luton on Sunday 18th December. He said goodbye to the church in his sermon that morning, It was also the Baptism of his granddaughter Florence Pirnie, and the message is about the things he has learnt in ministry that he wants to tell her. The message begins with a reading from Acts 2. 42-47.
