About: SWEDISH PILGRIMAGE WALK A Reflective Journey Through Stopsley
Organised by: St Mary's, St Thomas’, St Anne's & St Christopher's, Luton.
Join us for a unique 4km reflective walk inspired by Swedish pilgrimage traditions, beginning in Stopsley.
Following a wonderful pilgrimage experience at Vadstena Pilgrim Centre in Sweden, Mike Jones, David Alexander, Anne Crosby & Joseph Adewale invite you to discover the art of walking meditation and meaningful conversation closer to home.
What to Expect:
• A gentle 4km walk through Stopsley
• Opportunities for quiet reflection and sharing
• Reflecting on what the seven key words of pilgrimage: freedom, simplicity, silence, peace of mind, slowness, spirituality, and sharing have to say to each of us
• Fellowship with others on the journey
Who Can Join: Aimed at adults, this walk is also suitable for families with children aged 12 and above.
Come as you are – no special equipment needed, just comfortable walking shoes and an open heart.
"The pilgrim walks not just with their feet, but with their soul"
